Back to more normal temps for Seattle now. It's still hot, but it's in the eighties.

Two pumpkins are underway, including one that I fertilized and one that I didn't. When unfertilized, the little proto-pumpkin grows a little, then turns yellow and falls off. I have two which have grown a lot and are still green, so I have great hopes that they will mature. Of course, they won't be all that huge even full-grown, since this is a dwarf variety, but the flip side of that is that the vines themselves are only six feet long or so, instead of filling up the entire deck.
